superdrug beauty haul

Recently superdrug had a 3 for two offer on their website so i thought I'd take advantage of this offer.

From left to right
● makeup revolution "naked chocolate" pallet
● rimmel wake me up concealer in the shade "010 ivory"
● bourjois eyeshadow in the shade "beige rose"
● Nivea "pure and natural cleansing toner"

Firstly i've bought something i haven't tried before which is this gorgeous pallet. I was first attracted by it's packaging as it l8ooks like a bar of white chocolate somi thought it may be a dupe of Too faced's chocolate pallet. Im really impressed the by the colours in this pallet as browns and nudes are my favourite eyeshadow colours to wear. The name of each shade makes it sound even more attractive so I've included a photo of the inside of the pallet and left the clear sheet over they shadows so you can see the names of each shade.

The rimmel concealer I have used before in a slightly darker shade but as I'm very pale i tried the lightest concealer this time and to be honest it isn't much different but i don't mind because i love this concealer anyway.

Bourjois is my favourite drugstore brand for eyeshadow so i am very familiar with this colour as it's my go to shade for nearly every eyeshadow base i do. So i was just restocking this one haha.

And finally, ive been trying different cleansers and micellar waters lately trying to find something affordable and effective to take my makeup of easier and i think ive found the perfect one. At less than two pound for this size bottle it is both purse friendly and also works really well. I tend to use it on makeup wipes that are too dry to help wipe my makeup off in a more gentle manner. I have quite sensitive skin so I'm glad I've found a makeup remover that doesn't irritate my skin.

Hope you've enjoyed this blog as i havent posted in a while but i have started my April favourites blog already for next month :) Millie x

My snowflake cookie collection!

My candle addiction...

I have seem to have collected an abnormal amount of snowflake cookie Yankee candles lol. I purchased a lot of them in a 50% off sale after Christmas and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to stock up on my favourite scent...

I thought storing the wax tarts in a large jar was such a cool idea and and displayed them lovely

I hate how this scent only comes out at Christmas time but hopefully this lot can last me till next Christmas (probably won't though)
thanks for reading M x

Mini lush haul!

A Lush Christmas...

I received 4 lush bath bombs for Christmas and I am in love with them all so thought I'd share which ones I got...

I have liked lush for years as I love how they do not test on animals and obviously i love the products too! ☺

Lush products:

Golden wonder- first of all I love the shape of it especially the cute bow it has on top of it. When I first picked it up I could tell something was inside as I could hear rattling when I shook it and that's down to all the little gold glittery bits inside. When I first put it in the bath it turned the water yellow but then has a surprise green/blue centre which makes the bath a lovely turquoise colour.

The Christmas penguin bubble bar- his nose has fallen off but I think that makes him look even cuter! I love how no two penguins look the same as they're all slightly different shapes and sizes and i think it's lovely as it make yours unique.

Cinders- This is a very classic Christmas Lush product and is a lot smaller than the golden wonder but still smells as strong as some of the larger products. I also love the tiny pieces of toffee looking bath crystals on the top.

Candy mountain bubble bar- I love this one as it's got my favourite colour on it...PINK! it also has a very sweet candyfloss scent which personally i like as i do like very sweet smells. so if you have a sweet tooth or just like very sweet and almost vanilla scents then you will love this one!

hope you enjoyed reading my little descriptions of my Lush Christmas haul products!

The start of my MAC lipstick collection

This Christmas I got two new lipsticks from Mac, one from my brother and one from 'Santa' (aka mum and dad) & I am in love with them the formula is so smooth and i love the sleek packaging.

I firstly received 'velvet teddy' (the one on the left) which is a matte lipstick and the matte formula makes it so long wearing as I'll put it on in the morning before work and I wont have to re-apply it till later in the evening!

My second lipstick is called 'creme in your coffee' this one is a cremesheen lipstick it glides on a lot easier than the matte lipsticks but I feel like I have to touch it up more often through out the day.

hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! I'm going to try and blog more this year too x

Yankee candle Xmas haul!

Festive Yankee candle favourites

Above in order from left to right are; Spiced orange, fluffy towels, snowflake cookie and angel wings.

Anyone who knows me will know how much I love candles, particularly Yankee candles. So here's a few of my favourites. I also have a few Yankee tarts that i am loving such as 'Christmas memories' but they don't look as pretty as the jars on photos ha ha.

Spiced orange has a classic Christmas smell where as angel's wings doesn't have a such a strong sent but it's a very pretty smell. Fluffy towels is definitely one of the nicest smells as it smell like freshly washed clothes and i think it smells more like clean cotton than the clean cotton candle it'self! And Snowflake cookie has been my favourite Christmas smell for years (so I thought I'd put a separate picky of that) and I think the fact that it's pink too is very important to me.

September favourites!

September favourites

This blog is dedicated to all the things I've been loving over the month of September including fashion favourites, make-up buys and any other random things I've enjoyed! So if this blog post remotely interests you then please keep reading haha :)

My first love of this month is my festive Yankee candle. I know it's only September but I couldn't help myself I love everything about Christmas so the earlier the better for me! It smells so christmassy and really reminds me of Christmas eve/morning with it's Cinnamon scent is smells good enough to eat mmmmm.

My second love of the month is winter boots. I have started to develop a small obsession with boots as I'm quite looking forward to the change in weather and excited for the autumn/winter fashion as there are so many nice trends this year and a cute pair of boots and black tights make a summer dress look seasonal.
These are a couple of pairs I've bought.  I actually bought the black pair on the left in August but i still love them in September so im going to include them in my September favourites anyway ;D Both pairs are from newlook.

I've just been paid so purchased this beautiful desk that my mum's friend has painted for me and I love it! I'm really loving all the vintage/shabby chic styles and I am trying to get that look in my bedroom so I think this piece of furniture will be a lovely addition,

This last favourite is quite random but I was bought this cute piggy necklace a couple of year ago and i have rediscovered it and have worn it nearly everyday. Anyone that knows me will know that i adore anything to do with pigs so i really love this necklace! (my hand looks really wrinkly on this pic :()

hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading,
